Supporting communities at Christmas: Valrhona employees do their bit
For more than a decade. Valrhona and its employees - in keeping with their strong belief in supporting others - have been running a sale they call "Noël Solidaire", or "Solidarity at Christmas". We are proud of our local roots and our commitment to society, which is why we donate 100% of the profits from the sale to local non-profits.
From December 4 to 7, employees and volunteers from various charities gathered at the Lafuma Brand Village in Anneyron, France, to sell a selection of delicious products, including chocolate drinks, single origin chocolates for eating or baking, chocolate bonbons, crunchy chocolate-coated almonds and hazelnuts, and more besides. One hundred percent of the profits from this sale are donated in equal parts to four local non-profits.
Thank you to the teams who organized it and to all the employees who, as every year, demonstrated incredible enthusiasm and a desire to share our values of social commitment and solidarity with non-profit organizations.
What I like about Valrhona is the chance to sign up as a volunteer to support charities. The commitment is strong and one of the values that make me happy to work for this company.

Supported organizations
The Robert Ardouvin Foundation
Founded in 1946, the Robert Ardouvin Foundation takes in children and teenagers who are experiencing hard times and have been referred by the Children's Social Welfare Agency or directly by a juvenile court judge. The Foundation keeps siblings together whenever possible in the Vercheny Children's Village, which has 65 places for boys and girls aged from a few months to 18 years, from Drôme and other départements.
La Teppe Institute
The La Teppe Institute has been running for more than 165 years since 1856 as a research center where people with epilepsy and mental health challenges can live and receive care in Tain l'Hermitage. As the only center of its kind in France, it is also the first facility in Europe to offer a specialized home for people suffering from epilepsy related to psychiatric illness.
Les Amanins agro-ecological center
This center in the Drôme region of France is a place for experimentation and teaching agricultural and humanitarian practices rooted in a vision based on peace, cooperation and ecological regeneration. For over 20 years, it has been inspired by Pierre Rabhi's ideas around promoting agro-ecology and living well as communities in rural areas. Its participation in Noël Solidaire is helping to fund a 2025-2027 transformation project, which aims to reinforce its expertise and make the center a leader in its field.
KIWI Organisation
This non-profit sets up activities and events for children, teenagers and young adults living with pain, illness or disability. Its cultural initiatives make their daily lives more comfortable and support the organizations that look after them. In 2026, ten cooking and pastry-making workshops with chef Anne-Sophie Pic will be organized for young patients in the endocrinology, pediatric diabetology and hereditary metabolic diseases departments of the Femme Mère Enfant hospital in Lyon, as well as at the Institut d'Hématologie Pédiatrique de l'Enfant (IHOPE) at the Centre Léon Bérard.
