portrait of chef Hind

The very talented Hind al Mulla is the founder of Home Bakery, a home grown Emirati business, that thrived from the house. She was a self-taught pastry chef and ventured into the kitchen creating new recipes and delicious desserts that make you feel good. She opened her first location in 2012 and was popular overnight. From there she expanded to nine locations, and soon will be branching internationally. Two months after working in her store, she was greeted by HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, which gave her the fuel for her growth.

She graduated with a bachelor in Arts and Design. She attended Le cordon Bleu to enhance her culinary skills and also Harvard business school executive program. She is the creative director behind all the desserts and inspirations that is Home Bakery. She also received a Forbes Middle East award and was nominated as Emirati women of the year by Emirates Woman. We had the pleasure of witnessing a master at work with a never-before-seen creation with using Valrhona products before our very own eyes: a delicate but delectable unique dessert.
