Valrhona, Official Partner of the French Open Dessert Championship and the CNCA 2010-02-25 - FRANCE - Events Two prestigious events Two prestigious events will be taking place as part of Sirest, which will be held from 6 to 10 March at Paris-Nord Villepinte, at the same time as the Europain-Intersuc exhibition.One of this year’s highlights will be the French Open Dessert Championship. The first qualifications for the World Pastry Cup 2011 will be held on 7 March.England, Côte d’Ivoire, Spain, Hungary, Morocco, Tunisia and Russia are in the running. The 4 best countries will be selected. They will then have the privilege of travelling to Lyon to try to win the title of World Pastry Champion in January 2011.At the same time, Valrhona will also be an associate member of the National Innovative Gastronomy Contest (CNCA). On this occasion, 8 French competitors will be selected to participate in the Bocuse d’Or. The winner will have the chance of representing France in the 2011 Bocuse d’Or Final.
