Committed to preserving and promoting taste through a variety of exceptional actions, including societal responsibility, the Valrhona Foundation for Taste has helped the “Il Nous Pompe ce Diabète” Association
On 18 April in Chalons en Champagne, the “Il Nous Pompe ce Diabète” Association held its 4th edition of “Encounters of the 1st Kind”. This event is based on collecting information about type 1 diabetes, meeting healthcare professionals, and, above all, sharing experiences on the illness.Whilst parents took part in different workshops on the illness, children were looked after by a team of activity leaders, who proposed a chocolate workshop, overflowing with sugar-free Xocoline milk chocolate, offered by the Valrhona Foundation for Taste.To discover the universe of chocolate, this sweet delicacy which they usually cannot eat, the little chefs set aside their illness for the day and created a bouquet of delicious Valrhona chocolate lollies; an opportunity to rekindle the unique pleasure of tasting exceptional chocolate.
